Scarce 17 inch antique pewter oblong charger with beautiful quadruple reeded edge detail.  Condition and patination are excellent.    Three worn touchmarks are (1) a crowned rose with illegible initials; (2) a standing angel with the initials A I D; and (3) a round mark with a cat to the left and a word or name at the top "VAR" then illegible and an illegible word below that ends in "ER".  Circa 1750-1790.  Flemish.  Today I am listing 8 oblong charges from a hard to find 9" to a massive 20".  Be sure to check them all out.
