An exceptionally showy circa 1856 round bandbox in a very desirable color. The newspaper lining the inside bottom mentions Philadelphia, Binghamton and New Milford, indicating that the box is probably from Pennsylvania or Massachusetts. 14 1/2" diameter x 10" tall.
